I see a lot of this in the design arena as well. They define a job as a Sr. Designer and list that they want someone that is an expert at html, css, javascript, sql, php, python, ruby, photoshop, flash, actionscript, premiere, after effects and more.

The shotgun approach really isn't helping in the least and turns me off from your company.

Recruiters and HR are middleman industries in dire need of creative destruction. As it stands, they add almost no value, and get away with the lazy copy & paste techniques you mention. If sites like linkedin would do more to filter out clowns and work on their reputation and recommendation systems, they might have a shot at becoming agencies, or at the very least CV 2.0.
